Camera

Back in December I took my camera outside and some snow got into it and I didn't know it until just a few days before Christmas. I have been lost without my camera. I will be driving around and want to take a picture of the sun reflecting of the snow, or the mountains in the beauty of the snow. James has know that I want a camera since the day I found out mine is no longer in use. I got onto Amazon.com to look at their cameras and to price check them. I thought about getting one that was similar to the one that I have know, but James told me he wasn't going to buy me that type of camera again. It cost us about a $100 and the clasp part that holds the battery broke about 7 months after I had the camera. Duck tape became my friend then. I got the camera to last about 1.5 more after the clasp broke. I had it for 2 years so I got my good use out of it. 

This is the camera that I want to get. 


James told me I might be able to get it for an anniversary present. Our anniversary is in May so I still have 3 months to go. I want this camera more then I want a kindle right now. I miss being able to talk pictures and put them on facebook so my friends and family back home can see what has been going on up here in Alaska.

At the end

It's 8:05 pm the night before my due date. I can't believe I'm the end of my pregnancy. I know that Payton can be late, but knowing the end is near is kinda nice. I've enjoyed being pregnant, but these last 3 weeks have been really hard for me. I not the biggest fan of surprises. I have to know what or when something is going to happen. Trusting.

Well, I've been going down the road of life trying to trust God in every situation. I'm praying and hoping that my husband can get a job soon, seeing since we are out of money and have bills still coming, mostly my student loans. I'm struggling with all of this just because James doesn't have a job yet. I'm sure I wouldn't be as stressed out if we had some money flow coming in.   During all of this I think back to when my dad had his open heart surgery 9 months ago. My mom was also trusting and believing that God would provide during that time. My parent's had bills coming in and had no money to pay them. My dad had his surgery on the monday before thanksgiving in 2010. My mom would come home during the week stay and there would be money in the mail for her and it was always enough to get her through.  I wish I could be like my mom and have the faith that she did. might be good-bye for now, but not forever.

Almost every night I have a hard time falling asleep. Half of the time it's because I just am not tired enough to fall asleep, the other half is because my brain won't shut off. I always have different things that I want to write about in a blog, but then by the morning I forget about it. During the day I think oh I should write a blog.  I told James that I want to write one blog per week for the whole year. He just laughed at me and said, you'll run out of things to write about. Right now I feel like he is write, but on the other hand I feel like I can write a lot. Everything I want to write about is getting pregnant and the separation period with James being in a different village. So I guess I won't be writing a blog for awhile, since my last I don't know how many blogs have been about getting pregnant and my separation time. I don't want to bore all the people that might actually read this. So unless I can think of something else, you might not hear from me
