A little Tip

My last post was about me not blogging for awhile. I wasn't planning on blogging for a few weeks, but I have had some family members tell me they enjoy reading my blog and about what is going on inside of me. My sister-in-law and my aunt told me I should write about what goes on out here in the bush and how things are different, and what other adventures I can possibly have living out here in bush Alaska.

So today I am going to tell you what I have learned about shipping grocery's from Anchorage to the bush by mail. I personally have not gone in to Anchorage to buy grocery's. James' aunt and uncle go to town every once in awhile. What I have learned from them is if you buy anything liquid, you should tape the top of it so it doesn't leak and the cap stays on while going through the mail.  Something else I learned is that you should put all your freezer and refrigerator items into two different totes and bring them back as your checked luggage. Also pack all your dirty clothes in with the stuff getting mailed. You can use the clothing as protection and just to give you room in your tote for the stuff you have to bring back.

This thought came to me while I was getting dressed after my shower. I thought it would be some good useful information. Especially for my family members that read this blog and like to surprise me in mailing me soap, shampoo, and whatever else is in a liquid form.

Hopefully I can think of some more helpful tips to share with everyone. I might try and keep blogging, but don't get upset if I don't blog every week, even though it's my goal. I want to prove to my husband that I can do it, but it will be okay if I can't.

    Yea! I love to hear about life up there. While I am enjoying our adventure to great Northern Minnesota, I am jealous of all you get to see and experience up there. So don't stop blogging. And keep sharing even the mundane stuff because for those of us (like me) who would love to visit AK, it is ALL interesting!

At the end

It's 8:05 pm the night before my due date. I can't believe I'm the end of my pregnancy. I know that Payton can be late, but knowing the end is near is kinda nice. Trusting.

Well, I've been going down the road of life trying to trust God in every situation. I'm praying and hoping that my husband can get a job soon, seeing since we are out of money and have bills still coming, mostly my student loans. I'm struggling with all of this just because James doesn't have a job yet. I'm sure I wouldn't be as stressed out if we had some money flow coming in.   During all of this I think back to when my dad had his open heart surgery 9 months ago. My mom was also trusting and believing that God would provide during that time. My parent's had bills coming in and had no money to pay them. My dad had his surgery on the monday before thanksgiving in 2010. My mom would come home during the week stay and there would be money in the mail for her and it was always enough to get her through.  I wish I could be like my mom and have the faith that she did. Almost every night I have a hard time falling asleep. Half of the time it's because I just am not tired enough to fall asleep, the other half is because my brain won't shut off. I always have different things that I want to write about in a blog, but then by the morning I forget about it. During the day I think oh I should write a blog.  I told James that I want to write one blog per week for the whole year. He just laughed at me and said, you'll run out of things to write about. Right now I feel like he is write, but on the other hand I feel like I can write a lot. Everything I want to write about is getting pregnant and the separation period with James being in a different village. So I guess I won't be writing a blog for awhile, since my last I don't know how many blogs have been about getting pregnant and my separation time.
