Little bit of everything.

James, Payton and I went into Anchorage last week for a conference  We got into town before we could check into our hotel. So we went to pick up the car that we had rented and went shopping. We got most of everything we needed in one store, which happened to be Target. I was so excited that we got to go there it made my day. I did also get to do my first public breastfeeding there too. Someone at church gave me a nursing apron about two weeks before our trip. That thing came in handy. Especially at the conference that was three days long. We meet a lot of new people and got to see people we hadn't seen in awhile. James' aunt and uncle were there as well. I really enjoy watching James' aunt with Payton and showing him off to people and telling them that he was her great nephew and that she held his daddy when he was that small. She also kept telling Payton that she looked like his grandma. James finally got his vacation hours. We will be in Michigan for my sister's gra

Little Bit of Life

So the breastfeeding and the getting sleep has gotten better since the last time I wrote. This past weekend Payton only ate once in the middle of the night. He did wake up a couple of times between feedings, but I gave him his pacifier and he went right back to sleep. He has been getting a little fussy, but I think he might be starting the teething stage. He is drooling like crazy and gnawing on his hands when ever he can.  The Saturday before Easter a friend threw a baby shower for Payton which was really nice. He got a new Bible which is called The Big Picture Story Bible, so James has been reading that  to him most days. We also got a baby signing time video which is exciting. He also got a quilt that one of the ladies at church made. There were also clothes that were given.  James and I bought Payton two books off of Amazon with a gift card that was given to us at the shower. We bought him  "There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Fly" (we totally forgot that she die
