A little update

Sorry that I haven't blogged recently. I didn't know what to really write about. The last couple weeks have been long. I wasn't feeling well so nothing got done around the house. Thankfully my husband understood and helped clean and cook.  I  have missed the last two Sundays from church. The first one I wasn't feeling well and it was raining so I told James to go ahead and take the truck. Yesterday I ended up getting up and took James to work so I could have the truck. But when I got up my legs felt really shaky. This was the second time it had happen to me in the last couple day. I think I need to get up early to eat breakfast so I don't feel like this anymore.  Hopefully I can make it next week. 

Well I have come to realize that  James and I have now been in Alaska for a year now. Can't believe that it's been that long. I still have a year to go until I can go home and visit my family. For my sake and the sake of my family I hope it's not as hot as it is right now in Michigan. I have come to enjoy the weather here. Why everyone is complaining that it's so hot, I'm hoping that it will warm up and the sun will come back out and bring us back to the 70s. It's been rainy and overcast on and off for the last 2 weeks. I could use some sunshine.

At the end

It's 8:05 pm the night before my due date. I can't believe I'm the end of my pregnancy. I know that Payton can be late, but knowing the end is near is kinda nice. I've enjoyed being pregnant, but these last 3 weeks have been really hard for me. I not the biggest fan of surprises. I have to know what or when something is going to happen. James has a hard time surprising me because I'm always trying figure out what he is doing. *He did surprise me today with some chocolate and a Valentines day card*  Anyways knowing that Payton could come any time excites me, but also terrifies me. Trusting.

Well, I've been going down the road of life trying to trust God in every situation. I'm praying and hoping that my husband can get a job soon, seeing since we are out of money and have bills still coming, mostly my student loans. I'm struggling with all of this just because James doesn't have a job yet. I'm sure I wouldn't be as stressed out if we had some money flow coming in.   During all of this I think back to when my dad had his open heart surgery 9 months ago. My mom was also trusting and believing that God would provide during that time. My parent's had bills coming in and had no money to pay them. My dad had his surgery on the monday before thanksgiving in 2010. My mom would come home during the week stay and there would be money in the mail for her and it was always enough to get her through.  I wish I could be like my mom and have the faith that she did. might be good-bye for now, but not forever.

Almost every night I have a hard time falling asleep. Half of the time it's because I just am not tired enough to fall asleep, the other half is because my brain won't shut off. I always have different things that I want to write about in a blog, but then by the morning I forget about it. During the day I think oh I should write a blog.  I told James that I want to write one blog per week for the whole year. He just laughed at me and said, you'll run out of things to write about. Right now I feel like he is write, but on the other hand I feel like I can write a lot. Everything I want to write about is getting pregnant and the separation period with James being in a different village. So I guess I won't be writing a blog for awhile, since my last I don't know how many blogs have been about getting pregnant and my separation time.
