Planning for the Baby

Well planning for the baby has had its ups and downs.  We decided that we are going to buy/register everything in mostly neutral colors. That way when we have more children we can just reuse some of the bigger items instead have to buy new every time. Plus we won't have to store extra stuff if our next baby is a different gender then the one we are having. 

 We are also trying to decide if we want to by a crib or just get a pack and play for a crib and buy a crib mattress for it instead. All these designs are driving me crazy. We don't have a lot of space for a crib, but can make do if that is what we decide to do. It's just going to take some reorganizing  things to make it work. We have actually begun to do all that. Unfortunately we have a lot of totes that we have to figure out were to put. We are slowly emptying some of them and combining them with others, so we can stack the empty ones. 

 We are going to be finding out what we are having sometime in October. :) We are looking forward to it. I've been thinking that we are having a girl almost this whole pregnancy. My mom had a dream that we are having a boy. (When my brother and his wife were expecting, she also had a dream that they were having a boy. They did have a boy). My nephew Jack said that we are having a boy. So according to them we will have a boy. Ever since my mom called to tell me that I was going to have a boy, my mind has stop saying it's a girl, but still won't say it's a boy. We already have names picked out, so that is one thing that we don't have to decide on. We have had the names picked out before we even got pregnant. I can't wait until I am able to say what we are having and the name we picked. It will be so much easier then say "the baby"

At the end

It's 8:05 pm the night before my due date. I can't believe I'm the end of my pregnancy. I know that Payton can be late, but knowing the end is near is kinda nice. I've enjoyed being pregnant, but these last 3 weeks have been really hard for me. I not the biggest fan of surprises. I have to know what or when something is going to happen. James has a hard time surprising me because I'm always trying figure out what he is doing. *He did surprise me today with some chocolate and a Valentines day card*  Anyways knowing that Payton could come any time excites me, but also terrifies me. Trusting.

Well, I've been going down the road of life trying to trust God in every situation. I'm praying and hoping that my husband can get a job soon, seeing since we are out of money and have bills still coming, mostly my student loans. I'm struggling with all of this just because James doesn't have a job yet. I'm sure I wouldn't be as stressed out if we had some money flow coming in.   During all of this I think back to when my dad had his open heart surgery 9 months ago. My mom was also trusting and believing that God would provide during that time. My parent's had bills coming in and had no money to pay them. My dad had his surgery on the monday before thanksgiving in 2010. My mom would come home during the week stay and there would be money in the mail for her and it was always enough to get her through.  I wish I could be like my mom and have the faith that she did. might be good-bye for now, but not forever.

Almost every night I have a hard time falling asleep. Half of the time it's because I just am not tired enough to fall asleep, the other half is because my brain won't shut off. I always have different things that I want to write about in a blog, but then by the morning I forget about it. During the day I think oh I should write a blog.  I told James that I want to write one blog per week for the whole year. He just laughed at me and said, you'll run out of things to write about. Right now I feel like he is write, but on the other hand I feel like I can write a lot. Everything I want to write about is getting pregnant and the separation period with James being in a different village. So I guess I won't be writing a blog for awhile, since my last I don't know how many blogs have been about getting pregnant and my separation time.
